    Hi,

    I was wondering if it's possible to connect the Wii to a monitor without having to use a video card if I use HDMI and DVI adapter?

    A HDMI to DVI cable should work ok (providing the Wii supports HDMI output)

    Thanks.

    Hmm I'm not sure if it supports HDMI. I know you can use AV-HDMI adapters to plug it into televisions through HDMI ports, but it is not high-def. My setup would be

    Wii AV --> AV/HDMI adapter --> HDMI/DVI adapter --> monitor

    HDMI and DVI are both digital outputs (DVI can carry analog and digital signals), so even with an adaptor you should be ok with that setup.
