I'm doing some building work in my garden at the moment and I am worried about the width of an access spot. It is 48' at the narrowest spot. Considering that I hope to get a ride on soon I'm concerned that this may make this difficult. I see lots of details of the width of the blades but not the overall width.........Can anyone help me? What is the most common width for a ride on?

usually the blade width is the widest part of the mower.add a couple of inches maybe for the deck and you should be grand

Thanks chief! So do you reckon that a 48' gap won't be a problem?

    shouldnt be..my one is a 42 inch cut(i think)..i'd imagine 48 inches(4 foot)would be loads unless you go for a monster of a mower
