A long shot but here goes - my wife lost her Samsung Galaxy SII phone on Wednesday night last between the entrance to Castlefield estate and the Clonsilla Link Road up to Mount Symon estate. Reward offered.

Have you tried texting her phone saying reward offered? It might just work.

    Good luck with it anyway.

Thanks for the replies. Aside from taking a proactive approach in terms of installing 'find me' apps like Latitude, a good alternative to locate a lost phone is Plan B (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.lookout.labs.planb&hl=en), you can install it remotely in the event that the phone is still on and accessible (tied to Gmail account). Unfortunately, we had already changed the Gmail password and cancelled the SIM so this wasn't an option this time around, experience is a cruel mistress...
