    Anybody know any good sites to download or view drum notation? Good notation now not tabs.. any ideas apriceated thanks

    Found a few links after a quick search. Hope they're relevant (have you picked up a few books? Syncopation is a good one.)

    Cheers for that not really what I'm after tho, need proper notation for songs, I find tabs on sites like drumbum pretty poor

    Naw man, learning to read sheet music is a valuable asset no matter what instrument you play. :)

    It's definitely possible to learn an instrument without it, but consider it another string for your bow or some other metaphor.

    Would also be interested in this.
    I've been playing drums for about two years now and I can play along to a lot of songs just by listening to them. But until recently I didn't even know there was sheet music for drums and as said above it would be a valuable asset to learn how to read it. :)

    It will also help improve your rhythm, and what drummer wouldn't want that? :D
