I had science top left today, went okay.
KNOW;-Deifinition of hook's law,
-What is a catylyst,
-A test for oxygen
-A test for carbon dioxide
-How to show protein is present in food
-Characteristics of plastics
-NaOH + HCl
-Urinary system/fnctions of some of the parts of it
-Motor/sensory nerves
-Pressure (in a bit of detail)
-Distillation
-Difference between alcohol and mercury thermometer.
-How to calculate the cost of a microwave being used for 3 hours
-Oxygen bohrs diagram.
-LDR -Light dependant resistor.
The last two can actually be found in a log tables book and you are allowed to use one in the science exam.
Now I need Woodwork and French in as much detail as possable,
No harm if you don't do woodwork but I'm desperate for french.
I need:
-Letter
-Note
-comprehension topics/words/things I should know.

thanks so much, unfortunately I don't do french, so can't help ya there
Anyway wood was a nightmare, (it was ok if you compare it to other exams, but it was a LOT harder than usual)
Don't be freaked out or anything, it was just a lot worse than usual
for the short questions, know how to draw a thumb guage is, know the names of every powertool (there was a weird one that i dont know) know metals, and thats all I can remember
for long questions,
q1= insanely hard TG question (u must do TG to have any hope)
then another question was on sharpening a chisel
then another on designing a cabinet to hold a dvd player
then another was on acrylic plastic
cant remember the last one yet
sorry i can't be more helpful

French is:
start is like your car broke down and tick the box of where you get it fixed which is a garage and another one which i dont remember. then theres 9 comprehensions some easy some hard, the note is about you staying with some french friends is about waking up at 7o'clock and going for a cycle into town to buy some breakfast for them, say you will be back in half an hour. Next is a letter and you choose between formal and informal (I chose informal cos its easier), i cant remember it all but some of it is about easter and inviting your penpal Lucien to Ireland, say what friends he will meet and what you's will do together..Hope that helps0 -

I'm an average - good student at tg, do you think I should do the tg question?
if u do tg at all, then u should be grandall you had to do was draw a wardrobe to a certain scale
when i said it was hard, i meant for the people who dont do tg at all
it had loads ofshelves too
but if ya do TG go for it 0 -

Q1just need to know areas ( which should be in your log table)Q2is to find the midpoint and all that stuff like with the Lines (equation of a line, prove a pint belongs to a line etc)Q3is theorem and constructions.Q4other theorem and some trigonometryQ5is all sin cos tan etc. (easy enough)Q6 -Pie charts, histograms and cumilative frequency curve(ogive)
... Ahhhh The Listening is kind of fast but if you listen carfully you'll get it

Second Question: Another sign one.. What website would u look for for holiday homes in france?
Comprehension 1 was about some motorway , they asked how many people go on it and and what activities is there to do at the rest stop and what part of the motorway does some guy control?
Comprehension 2 was about books and they were looking for a book where someone has just met their boyfriend, one where they wont let the prisoners out .. one where they work as a journalist and i can't remember the third!
Comprehension 3 was about the christmas holidays and what people love about being off school (sleep in, go out with friends, presents etc.)
I can't remember the rest...
The note was that u woke up at 7 am and u left the house to go to town and to tell them you'll be back in a half an hour with breakfast!
The letter was that u tell him about school, invite him over for the easter holidays, tell him what you'll be doing when he comes, tell him about the people he will meet , ask him to write back soon.
