    Anyone watching the African Cup of Nations? Watching extra time between Ghana and Tunisia, it is beyond a joke!! If you think Spanish or EPL football is bad for diving and play acting this takes things to a new level! An absolute embarressment to the game of football

    Yup can't watch football any more, it's been emasculated. Watched the superbowl last night and it's baffling at times, you can wallop players in the air so they land on their neck but you can't touch a receiver trying to catch the ball. Then you had the head melting moment in the final quarter when they guy scoring a touchdown that didn't want to and ended up looking like he had a heart attack crossing into the endzone.

    Giants were trying to run down the clock and hold onto the ball,by scoring they gave the ball back to new england with a minute on the clock to try to win the game

    i got the samsung galaxy 10.1 tab is is frickin class. Little more expensive then some some at 550ish but worth every penny imho

    video quality is unreal on it too, i have Band of brothers in bluray on it and its beautiful :P

    Hey lynx,

    I can tell you my boring story if you want.

    Firstly, its important to think about what you want it for. Spec is expensive and there's no need to buy something that you won't fully utilise.

    I thought about many tablets, kept my eye on the bargain thread here, but everytime I got advice from people in the know they warned me off one or the other.

    I was advised

    a) get an ipad - original and in the majority the best

    b) Get an android tablet

    There are pros and cons to each, but if you are more tech savy than myself, maybe the second, as you can update Honeycomb OS etc. If you want the finished article (and don't hate iTunes) the ipad.

    That's my experience for what its worth.

    P.S. If you do for the ipad, devices that are bought here have a 2 year warranty, whereas those bought in the States have 1.. just in case you were thinking second hand!

    Missus got me the 7' Samsung tab gor xmas and I have to say it does the job.

    Video quailty is beyond perfect. Nice bit of power in it and harddrive is decent. Has never frozen or crashed on me (to date). Tis nice size and can be held comfortably for long periods of time. Should average 300 - 400 quid.

    Easier to use too when syncing with the laptop etc (hate itunes). Tis just a matter of dragging and dropping ;)

    You can also pick up a cover with built in keyboard on ebay for 15 quid.

    Thats my two cents anyway :)

    There's nothing in particular I want it for. Probably just net and vids. Have an iPhone and hate messin around with iTunes so would like to give android a go. Would like a decent battery life too

    Off to Manchester in the morning, going to Old Trafford for the big game Saturday lunchtime. Will be my first United v Liverpool game, uber excited, a mental atmosphere for this specific fixture by all accounts.
