    Just wondering does any one here use the satellite meter "SATLOK MICRO G2I bought one recentley and used it to align a few dishes.When i used it on EASY FIND on 19 and 13 degrees it would not lock a signal.The only way i could get a lock was to watch the meter as i turned dish and when i was roughly in direction i would look for signal display on meter to peak(still would not display Sat info)I would then change to the Digital search mode and then i would get a Lock and the name of the Satellite.This method is very hit or miss.I contacted Emitter and they say that not all Satellite transponders transmit TV info and i would have to find the ones that do and input them into meter.Has anyone came across this?Is there and Up to date Satelitte list for meter?Have downloaded latest updates from Emitter website but still no change.Any info greatly appricated:)

    I own and use the same meter. I never use easy find, I look up a dvb-s transponder frequency on kingofsat.net and use the spectrum feature to find it and then digital mode, same as you, to identify it. It usually takes seconds to do with a little practice. It will spot but not lock and identify a dvb-s2 transponder, it usually searches for the nearest dvb-s transponder.
    It is very quick and easy .
