Advice Sirrus comp or Giant Rapid 1

Hi All

Wondering if any one has either a Sirrus comp or a Giant Rapid 1.
Just wondering how you find them. I planning to upgrade my hybrid for work and looking for a gearing system close to a road bike. My current hybrid has way too many gears and don't bother with the first 7 most of the time.

I looking for hybrid as I much prefer the riding position in heavy traffic compared to a road bike.

I am inclined to go for the Sirrus comp as it approx €1000 while the Giant is €1100 also sirrus comes with carbon forks.

Just wondering anyone got any advice on either bike. Also any issues with the wheels on the Sirrus, as have a specialized road bike and had to replace the wheels (rubbish alex rims)

Rapid comes with carbon forks as well (alloy steerer) see here: http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-gb/bikes/model/rapid/9318/49828/

I had a similar choice last year and bought a Rapid 3 coz it was cheaper and lighter than the Sirrus but I'd suggest you do your own research on the newer model bikes.
