start a cover band in dundalk?

    I've recently moved into the Dundalk area.. and I was wondering if anyone wants to start a cover band? I can play guitar/piano and maybe some backing vocals. Would be looking for drums/bass/guitar/lead singer? Interested in doing pop/rock covers like Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, Oasis and maybe acoustic covers of current pop.

    Hey there; I'm in the college myself. I'm not studying music, but I have been playing for a couple of years now, and consider myself quite proficient at playing.

    I play bass 19y/o.

    I'll play alternative, acoustic (like supporting stuff for say... Damien Rice/Glen Hansard... that sorta stuff), indie, shoegaze, punk... and yes: I actually will play pop covers! Basically I won't play progressive, metal, blues, hard rock or classic rock.

    Hi Jordo141, that sounds good, i love Damien Rice and Glen Hansard. I do write my own stuff sometimes, and would be interested in writing/playing the odd original.

    Awesome; if you can manage to locate the other members, then I'd give a band some SERRIOUS consideration!
