Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just looking for advice on implications of removing a ditch, bought a neighbouring field and would like to remove the ditch between the two fields, I think there are penalties in relation to SFP but would it be possible to get permission from the department to do so.

I think it might be possible if you plant the equivalent amount of hedge somewhere else on the farm first, check with dept as I could be wrong on this.

Yes it is possible to remove the ditch provided you raplace the ditch you are going to remove. Under the new EIA rules you have to apply for a screening if the ditch is longer than 500 meters. Also if you are in Reps 3 check with your planner.

I would say he got done for illegally removing a ditch during the nesting season for birds, which runs from March till August under the Wildlife Act. No such provisions apply to rabbits specifically.
