A good tense game. Well done the Giants, you took your chances, had some luck ( all the recovered fumbles ) which every Champion needs, and dug deep enough for the win.

But that has to be the most stupid looking Superbowl winning TD ever! :)

Any first time fans tonight reading here - you just seen a hell of a game :D

game had pretty much everything you could ask for.. most other sport finals tend to be hyped up and the game ends up being drab and not as good or exciting as its made out to be...

superbowl year after year has lived up to the hype since I've started watching 6-7 years ago.... just one of the reasons I love this sport so much

Eli for MVP surely and that...

and who doesn't love this tune :D

Manningham didn't make that great catch and that game was going the other way.

Is it 4 years ago already? :pac:

ahmed bradshaw's grandkids, many years from now:
"so tell us all about your superbowl-winning touchdown"
bradshaw: "well it was the last minute of the game, we needed to score to take the lead, the ball was handed to me................."

Brady played great. Really he played very well. Can't ask for much more (I even think the interception play would've been worse if he was sacked). Giants were just the team that scored last. That was the difference.

I hate the way the trophy is presented to the franchise owner and not the coach and / or MVP / nominated squad captain.

    Congrats G-Men

So now it's time to count down the days until free agency..then the draft...then the OTAs..then finally pre-season in August. 7 months until my Bears take the field again :(.

Don't think he's moving too well with his ankle.
With a high ankle sprain that was never going to happen. :D

Yeah looking at the replays you can see it handicaps him a bit in the way he moves off the ankle. Easy for me to say he should have dived for it while I'm sitting here but I'm sure if he could have he would have.

What bets do you all have on tonight lads?

I like the Giants +3 at evens. Manning MVP at 9/4. Victor Cruz first TD at 8/1.

Very profitable night for me, for once!

I have been informed by the wife that we were supporting the patriots. To add to our woes now we get to fight the traffic of everyone leaving their friends' houses

I think Tuck should've got MVP. The pressure overall wasn't great but he really brought it tonight.
