I'd donate the money to about 350 kids who desperately need to look good on their communion day, after all they need the dosh as the welfare has taking it away from them

Please don't mention Cheltenham I lost 10 pound on Dorians pride back in 97 still can't believe I back the bloody thing :( haven't backed a horse since it was suppose to win :(

Poor Dorans Pride died at Cheltenham in 2003 when he fell. It was a disgrace he was asked to race at the age of 14, should have been out in a field retired. Still makes me angry

Trust me, you are not a jinx :D But if you can give me your selections for this year's Cheltenham Festival I will make sure to avoid them :p

If I got 10k I'd defo send me folks on a nice holiday, it's their 40th wedding anniversary this year....plus it might catapult me from least favourite to most favourite child :pac:

Pay off the loan on the motorbike, give a few bob to the parents, and the rest would come with me to Canada in May.

Pay off my debts, give a bit to the folks for a holiday, put the house up for rent - then get the heck out of this country before they turn off the internet!

Send my parents on a cruise, as they would love to go on one.

Put €1000 in the bank for my first godchild who is due to be born in next few weeks :)

And maybe buy a car. Nothing fancy, just something the would be good on petrol, and not cost an arm and leg to insure. :)

I'd buy a mansion and a ferrari. Then I'd fly round the world in a hot air balloon followed by a trip into space with Richard Branson. I'd put the rest in the bank.

Inter-railing around Europe! Not in the pretentious D4 way... Just travelling around as many different cities and countries as I could, I love visiting new places and experiences new cultures (+ practising languages where possible). I've only been in 6 European countries (several parts of most of them, though) so I have a lot left to see!

    Get braces (again ¬,¬)
    Do a masters
    Go on a holiday
    Open a savings account.

Now you know, now you know how boring I am.

Did the braces not work the first time? (Dumb question I'm guessing)

    Poland & Ukraine!

I am seriously thinking that way as well, I could borrow for it, I am also putting away 20 a week for Brazil, you never know. Us qualifying is such a rarity we may not see it for another while. Like this is our record.

    USA 94 too.

Brazil '14 would be an amazing trip but would be very expensive, plus I don't think we will get there. France '16, where 24 teams qualify is where I hope to go to my first tournament to follow Ireland!

I'd literally kill myself before I'd spend a 10,000 windfall on something like that. Just saying.

I'd invest it in a commodity such as coffee. It's expected to rise a good bit after the Summer.

Even if the value drops, I wouldn't lose too much. It's a safe gamble.

    You are mistaken.
People thought the same about gold.
Cocaine cut at 40% purity is a safer return.

I would go to Euro 2012, probably costing around €1,000.
Another Holiday in the summer some time €800
Get Braces - no idea how much that costs €1,000? €2,000?
Big night out too. Coke, Hookers, Drink etc
Then I'd give some money to my parents then and put the rest in the bank
