mira vigour shower query

folks have a mira vigour shower, its a good shower pressure wise anyway. my problem is that the water seems alot colder than it should be. by this I mean if I use another shower in the house running from the same water cylinder when the oil range has been on all day then the water is boiling and you barly need to move the dial into the hot settings, with the mira its as if something isnt set up correctly and you almost have to turn the dial to the hottest setting to get warm water?? dont know anything about shower set ups but is this normal or is ther a mixer or something setup incorrectly in the mira?

If it has been like this it was probably never changed from factory setting , check the link below it has the manual , it will guide you through how to set the temperature. top link is for the manual model and bottom is for the thermostatic model
