How much rent allowance could I get while on Jobseekers?

    I am 21 and living at home hoping to move out. I am only getting 100 Euro per week on Jobseekers. If i was to get long term accommodation and the monthly rent was around 300-400 Euro what is the best i could hope to get in rent allowance while on jobseekers?

    I have being unemployed for the last year.

    I'll be 22 very soon if that makes any difference.

    You need to be renting the same place for the last 6 months or be on the social housing list. If neither apply to you then you won't get rent allowance.

    Mate if I were you and if you can swing finances I'd be off to Australia.
