Lenovo S205 wireless problem?

Hi, Having a problem connecting (or even finding wireless networks) on my new Lenovo s205, my old laptop can see and connect no problem. Everything seems to be in working order on it in terms of the right drivers etc. Maybe someone with this laptop could advise? Thanks

which version of windows ?

what wireless are you trying to connect to ?

is there a wireless switch / Fn keystroke on the laptop set to on

are you using WEP or WPA ?

win 7 home premium.
my neighbours:D (legally)
no wireless switch just a bluetooth switch.
its an open network.
