How do you see kids?

But, seriously
How do you look at kids?

Because I find them very freaky.

Freaky in an Omen kinda way...

Kids give me the ****s...

So, what's the verdict?

Cuddly bundle of joy? Or demon sent from hell?!

Depends on your definition. Law defines a child as somebody under the age of 18. So by that logic until the day of your 18th birthday you are a child.

TBH Kids are kids, we all used to be them at some stage... Some are noisy, why is he sky blue? annoying little sh1tes. Some are quiet, and like to read/play video games/paint whatever.

I think that you have failed to realise that children are people. It all depends on who the kid is.

So lets make more generalisations.. What do you think of taxi drivers, Gardaí, black people even.

Maybe I took my point a bit too far, but why should people think any differently of children, than they do of other people?

The Poll is a bit stupid, but this could actually be a good discussion.

Have a look at what children were like 2-4 generations back, and compare them to what they are like now.

Now predict what they will be like in the future.

I think the future is grim...

cause kids think they can get away with everything they do nowadays..

personally i think if you do something majorly wrong you should be slapped about, instead of keep pushing and pushing to see how far you can go etc..

dont get me wrong i wasnt hit when i was growing up apart from a couple of times, which to be honest was deserved looking back (caught being stoned in school), i was slapped about when i got back home. But now kids cant be hit etc and with these crappy new government laws coming out kids think they are invincible, which just makes the problem even worse.. :mad:

Not to mention the fact of bad parenting which i see a fair bit.

The average child is a demon from the pits of hell! It is my opinion that all kids should be locked away from society until they can understand and obey the commands "Sit Down" & "Shut Up". Preferably at the same time. Once there is sufficient proof that they can obey those commands they should be allowed back into society on a phased basis. In short, they annoy the hell out of me.

In my opinion kids are the greatest source of evil in the world - totally unbound by rules, regulations and conscience. At least most of them grow out of it. Fair enough I wasn't the perfect child but at least i'd get the sh*t kicked out of me if I went too far and tbh I'm glad in retrospect.

Kids are little people - sponges for information, and can be smarter than a lot of people give them credit for. Personally, I love kids and love to hang out with them - especially my friends kids... (woe betide anyone who tries to bring any harm to them!).

And yes, anyone who can harbour sexual fantasies about children deserves to be locked up. Anyone who ACTS on such fantasies deserves to be beaten to death. Joking about it or calling people paedo's (etc.) just because they genuinely love children is just moronic and peurile. This has been a bone of contention and a source of annoyance for me, particularly on IRC... but I guess I take the unwarranted slagging a little too much to heart.

Here's a good example of the youth of today.

The guy in this picture is a guy I used to go to Primary School with. He WAS the smartest kid in the whole school.

Heh, 7 years and 300 ounces later (aged 16):)...

Actually, one time not so long ago, I was supposed to 'Mind' my little cousin. I plonked her in front of the telly, and put on a video. Disney's Anistasia, I think it was...

Definatly Atari as it depends on the kids!! Some are Satans spawn... they are reckless and are in fact criminals and know they cant be prosecuted. I think once you hit 12 you should no long be classed as a child.. maybe even younger.

Anyway some are great.. some are muppets.. others are shadowspawn.. so Atari is the option to pick!

Hmm, depends on the kids I suppose. Some good, some bad, some in between. Handy when some are spoilt so that they get all the latest PS2 games, from whom I will get the lend from, saving me loadsa dosh!!

If there is one thing I want in this world its to be a Dad.
I like kids, i find em so funny, really curious, happy little things.

By the way, a kid (in my definition) is anyone under 12, after that they are teenagers, then 18+ is an adult. If ye don't agree I don't wanna hear about it, just my opinion!!!

Kids really annoy me, these days they walk around like they own the place. Other kids are just scary, I was in Dublin airport a while back and this man was there with his 2 kids, 1 was about 1 and the other was about 4, a cute little girl who just kept staring at me with these evil eyes, then the 1 in the father's arms started staring at me too. I was never so freaked out in my life. As for teenagers, they should all be killed, or locked up, just keep them out of my way in general, little pavies all of 'em
