Transfer deadline day as an Arsenal fan is like sitting in detention and watching all the other kids play in the playground

Not sure I get what you mean here, only Chelsea and QPR have actually spent any money today and they are hardly on a level playing field with the rest of us. And you have a very short memory if you cant remember the last Transfer deadline day.

    Love this tweet

    SebSquillaci_ Not Seb Squillaci
7 hours to go. Me and Manuel are eating popcorn watching Sky Sports News. We've got fireworks for 11 o clock to do if we stay at Arsenal.

Arsenal midfielder Yossi Benayoun, who joined the Gunners from Chelsea on August's deadline day, on Twitter: "Last day of the transfer window always interesting. So many things happening..."

Its a pity we are rarely involved though.

Yeh with Frimpong at Wolves and Ryo at Bolton gives me extra incentive to try watch as many of there games as possible.

Sadly the Arshavin rumours have died down be nice even if were not going to sign the players we need to at least get rid of some the deadwood we have. To quiet on the Arsenal front today :(

Have to say the most encouraging thing about the window was that none of the other clubs spent anything of note. Perhaps the looming FFP introduction is actually going to do some good.

Hleb has been released by Barca. Maybe a six month deal with the chance of a longer contract if he does the job? Doesnt look like we'll be signing anyone else.

Oh no, if people said Henry was a step back.....

Saha to Spurs, very frustrating they seem to be getting another defender as well.
We need players more than they do, and nothing.

Henry on loan for 2 months is all we got, it's pathetic.

Russian transfer window not closed til the end of Feb? Arshavin still has time to pack his bags so, even if we haven't got a replacement it'll knock a few digits off our wage bill and give somebody else a chance who actually deserves it.

Tough game tomorrow, we seen what Bolton can do at home when they ruined Liverpool a while back.

Impossible to know who will turn up, the Arsenal of the first half against Villa, or the second half. All I know is away from home we are dreadful right now and a 4th defeat on the spin can basically kiss 4th place goodbye with tougher games to come.

    Is Miyachi going to play?

Liverpool were awful that night and the effort wasn't there so IMO if Arsenal turn up and play to their potential they should win against Bolton.

    I wouldn't think so

Spurs alos lost Pavlyuchenko, Pienaar and Bassong. I'd probably argue they're worse off to be honest. Everton and QPR are the only real winners this window as far as I can tell.

Ryo can't play against us being his parent club.

So that's surely proved beyond doubt now that profits are more important than football.

At least we can all free up our Tuesday nights now.

As soon as I heard Wenger utter the words 'leetle setback' I accepted we'll see Jack play a maximum of 2 or 3 games at the very end of the season.

Don't worry though, we have a reserve player from Dortmund to save us.
