Can you tune in RTE & TV3 as "Other Channels" on a Sky box?

I have a current Sky subscription, in the last year I upgraded to Sky+ and started using the old sky box in another room as a freeview box. It has worked out really well but I have no access to RTE or TV3. Can they be tuned as "other channels? Many thanks.

No. They are not available FTA on satellite

Yes, you can, but it doesn't work as they are encrypted.
but no sound or picture, only teletext.

Unless sky make a big software change on their Sky HD box, it won't ever tune the free to air Irish TV on Saorsat from June 2011 either.

Put an aerial on the TV for Irish TV. Analogue only working till end of 2012, some TVs do work directly with Irish Digital (saorview). See http://www.saortv.info/ Any TV will work with Subscription free Saorview set-box if the TV doesn't work directly.

you can tune in irish channels by adding the following codes on sky.10.740 h 22.0 5/6
