Anyone played Driver on the wii? Completely hooked on it, but have been stuck at the exact same point since wednesday. Frustrated as could be. If I had an extra 10 seconds I would pass it. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH.

And the world will have a day of mourning tomorrow.
TBH i'm kinda annoyed because all the bebo kids have migrated over to facebook and are slowly turning it into bebo. Pain in the ass.

Superbowl's on tonight (Sky Sports 1; program at 10:30pm; kick-off (?) is at 11:30pm). Is it worth watching for a non-fan? Is there ads every time the ball goes out of play?

no ads on the BBC,they take the feed off NBC?? and cut back to their back to the studio for analysis when the US feed goes to ad break

Pretty much every second or third time the ball goes dead, which can be every 5-10 mins and sometimes even shorter! The half time show is great, but also flooded with ad breaks.

I find it impossible to watch the Superbowl live if im not with mates and watching on my own, purely because of the constant ad breaks.

I genuinely can't watch American Sports. The ad breaks ruin any good match I've ever watched but specifically NFL. Ireland-Wales, the borefest that will be United-Chelsea and obviously the deferred Galway match is enough sport for one day.

There is talk of a tv movie so fingers crossed

Really? I kind of wonder what they'd do that wouldn't unravel alot of the ending they came up with. The show has had so many finales only to continue, it's amazing :P

The BBC would be the best place to watch for a non fan, as they have no ads and instead have analysis, which as a non fan is great as it also means they explain more of the rules (American Football is a pretty complicated game)

What happens is that there are 15 mins in each quarter. Some plays mean the clock keeps going, but some plays (new first down, ball going out of play, incomplete pass, turnovers (the other team getting the ball)) makes the clock stop, so there might be an ad or analysis then.

I was going to book tomorrow off work to stay up and watch it but far too busy at work so can't. Might try catch the first half though.

that's like saying when your watching raw and they take a break during the match and ruining it.

Also the Nfl are streaming live tonight for free. First time ever. You can use your smartphone or what ever to watch this year

CANNOT be as bad as Scotland vs England I was shouting at my tv at how bad that was, Scotland i'm convinced can't score a try such is the level of their skill. I agree with you about Chelsea vs Utd looking at the ad it looks like can't miss tv but it'll more than likely be a big pile of shíte. Who is the halftime show this year, i'm not a fan but wasn't it the Black Eye Peas last year who were AWFUL.

    Madonna. Yay!

And yeah, Black Eyed Peas sucked last year. Only highlight was the appearance of Slash, but Fergie singing Sweet Child pretty much ruined that too

I have zero interest in any American ball games but Dublin haunts Peadar Kearneys (on Dame) and Woolshed (on Parnell) are having their annual Superbowl gatherings if any of yous fancy going out for it.

Now if only someone here would organise a Wrestlemania screening............... :D

    OH GOD! Madonna.
I just remembered Fergie's howling dog performance pity Slash didn't wrap his guitar round her head but the man is a pure sellout. Speaking of the game I can see nothing but a Patriots win hope it isn't as one sided to watch as it is in my head.

Much like MMA, American football has always been something I wanted to get into. I love the sport and the strategic nature of the game. Just never found the motivation to really get into it.

I'm pretty new to the whole thing with last years Superbowl being the first game I've ever watched.

I'm still getting into it and love the strategic aspect of it too. If you pick up one of the Madden games they can really help you get into it and get a feel of the rules etc.

Yeah, the Madden games are what got me into the sport and taught me a lot about the rules and stuff.

Awful performance by us against Wales. Don't know how we nearly won it and scored 21 points. How many times did we blindly kick the ball right back to them it seemed to be all we did. Not a great day so far after watching that and Milan do nothing again oh & Ibrahimovic gets sent off too.

Me and the bro get one of them every few years. Always good fun and taught me everything I know about the sport. That said, we tend to just always go for Hail Mary passes :D

3-0 down to 3-3. Awesome second half in the Chelsea/United game there.

How old did Essien look the man's legs are well gone. Couldn't believe Chelsea blew that lead so easily. Have sky got stock in Torres when he had that chance Martin Tyler shouted like a baboon and made a ass of himself.
