Real are ****e. Don't be fooled into thinking they'll do well in Europe.

They are a hell of a lot better than any side in england. Its a pity the italian sides haven't more money because of the lack of it I can't see them threatening in europe. Bayern have no good centre backs so I can't find anyone better than Real out there. I'm not a fan of Real either (I think jose is a parasite tbh) but not a lot of good sides out there at the moment.

English clubs are at a low. Bayern have a better chance than Real especially with the amazing new signing they made during the week.

LOL What were they thinking, I was sure when I read it first that it was Shaqiri coming in to make up for missing out on Reus.

Anyone see Haywire in the Cinema? MMA's Gina Carano running around Stephens Green and Grafton Street, jumping the rooftops along the quays in Dublin 1 and beating the ****e out of the Gardai SWAT team. ***

Had a friend who was sure Aaron Hunt would be signing.

I want to see that purely for the reason that it's in Dublin.

had to re-add the spoilers tag and with an off topic thread I guess there is always the chance of this kinda thing but hopefully most will try and add spoiler tags if they think its something people might intend on watching which has only just aired.

This is a mad country, most people were back to work today, even though its Sunday. They do that a lot just to make them have more days in a row for holidays. Nice idea in theory but it can mess up peoples schedules and nobody wants to work on a Sunday anyway.

Don't come into a thread where spoilers for UFC are normally posted then. Not rocket science.

    Yes - true

Inserting a spoiler isn't rocket science either.

If people tell me that UFC was spoiled by them reading this thread I will add spoiler tags for everything.

Like I always if you cared this much you would avoid the internet or made the effort to watch live.

I can kinda understand recording it and forgetting about it until you read a post but even then it's your own fault.

Split the UFC posts into a new thread. No more accidental spoilers and nobody gets annoyed!

On a side note, since I rarely watch anything live (except for football matches); so I'm a keen proponent of spoilers-in-the-right-place, as opposed to the free-for-all other sites are with the "spoilers, spoilers everywhere, so f*** off" attitude. I think it's great that in general people here can come on the site, and have the choice to be spoiled, if they choose to enter a certain thread.

Hell i haven't even looked at the results of WrestleMania V. No spoilers :P

I finished The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time last night on the 3DS. Never played it before on the N64 (in my younger, ignorant years I always wondered why people raved about the game). Well this must be one of the most beautiful games ever created. Absolutely loved playing it (though at times the controls had me screaming in frustration) but you can't help but forgive this game and come back for more.

I have A Link to the Past sitting at home and I never finished it so I might turn my attentions towards that now.

So Chuck has finished as well now. Really sad. Not a perfect show but a fun one with loads of geek references. Sad to see it go :(

Have you played mario 3DS yet? It's quite amazing how the 3d kinda reinvents the mario world but keeps it as traditional at the same time!

I haven't but I had considered it for Christmas. I went instead with Mario Kart 7 which I sort of regret as I like Mario Kart DS better. :o

I might pick it up in the coming months as I haven't played a Mario game since the GBA.

Ah no Yvonne Strahovski will be missed. :-(
Anybody play Resi Evil Revelations on the 3DS yet.
Got Twilight Princess for the gamecube should be getting into it tomorrow, hope its good. I loved Wind Waker so i'm optimistic that it'd be good.

Twilight Princess is fantastic; story is very interesting, artwork is beautiful. Have to say it might be hard going back from Skyward Sword's awesome motion+ controls. Music is great but it's no Ocarina/aLttP (what is, lol). Gorgeous. Some parts are just beautiful; there's
a piano piece when you're escaping along the rooftops of castle,
    it's wonderful.

I only played Ocarina for the first time a couple of years ago; it's a work of art. That said, they've made advances in gameplay over the last ~14 years. I love how the music is so integrated in the game. It strikes a deep chord (hiyoooooooo) with me. :o

Is it normal after you play the game to want to learn how to play the ocarina? :pac:
