My GP tried to measure how cool I was once; unfortunately the top of the thermometer snapped off in the process.

I think it hurt him more to lose a perfectly good thermometer than it hurt me to have shards of glass in my body.

I walk around with a blank unimpressed expression and I don't care for many things. I like to think Im immune to things that try to impact me negatively.
I listen to nick cave and am quite the melancholic character.

Nick Cave is certainly cool.

Basically anything that is mainstream or successful is SO not cool while anything that absolutely no one knows about but you can discuss in public loudly so everyone knows how much cooler than them you are, or make others aware of your knowledge of it by wearing a t shirt that makes reference to it, then you are cool.
