I am a sprinter and I am looking to find a place to do some hill training near Galway City. The training would consist of 10 to 20 reps sprinting up hills of various steepness and lengths (up to 60m ish) and I would usually jog between the different hills.

Cratloe Woods near Limerick was perfect for this when I lived down that way. Does anyone know of anywhere like this near Galway?

    Thanks

Plenty of hills on the back roads from Knocknacarra towards Tonabrucky, or even just heading up Letragh (sp) road from westside pitches towards circular road.

Thanks but Id rather woodland trails or even a field on the side of a hill. Sprinting on footpaths and busy roads wouldn't really work. Too many thing to run into :D

There's a nice grassy hill to train on in Laurel Park, up and down as many times as you want. :)
    Check it out here...
