Why Are Bicycles So Expensive In Ireland?

It's driving me crazy.... I can't seem to find a reasonably priced bicycle anywhere. I've shopped all around Dublin and online....am I just going to the wrong stores? I'm looking for a new/full-sized/adult/mens bicycle with at least 10 gears, delivered (ideally) to my house. I can spend 50-60 euro. Is there any hope?

second hand maybe for that price (likely a fixer uppy), where on earth would find a bike for 50 - 60 euro new?
