Seeing as we're talking about it, does anyone else think the Ravens should have gone for it on 4th and one? Tbh the Patriots were likely winners if the kick went through.

Yeah I was wondering this. Advanced NFL Stats has 4th-and-1 conversion rate at 74%. But the problem was they only had 11 seconds on the clock and they were at the 14 yard line. If they converted the 4th-and-1 without making the end zone, they probably would've had to kick the field goal on the next play, so don't think it was gonna be worth it.

The play I would've loved to have seen was a fake field goal attempt, that's what Sean Payton would've done...

Big difference, and a lot easier to call that play with only 5 minutes of the game gone and no score on the board!

If a fake field goal had been called in that situation I think Harbaugh and co would be unemployed by now :pac:

Some of the Ravens certainly are fairly sore over losing that game. I'm suprised to see so much coming from them whining. Its not somethign I would have typically associated with them. A case of play the game hard, and what happens, happens. Reed, Lewis etc just moving on, but some of the rest of them. I supposed I'm not suprised at Suggs and Pollard though, but surely they should have more cop on.

    Pollard:
I hope the Giants put a thrashing on the Patriots, I really do. To lose to a team like that, the way we played. We played a good game.

As a neutral fan to both teams, I can quite clearly say Harbaugh should have called the TO. You cant say he is icing the kicker when the kicker is clearly rushing out to the spot. Its Harbaugh's responsibilty to manage the time and situation. I don't blame the scoreboard. Cundiff should have been watching and reading the game as it happened.

As I said before. You live and die for moments like this in your career. Its your career your responsibility.

    I don't blame the scoreboard.

Nor do the ravens. I don't know where this nonsense came from
