Seriously, that guy see's what happens when Amurika plans to do it, so he thinks it's a good idea too. This is the strong calibre of people this nation elects.

Either way, it will raise the issues profile and I dont think anyone around here is particularly sorry for our politicians today or tomorrow when they sign over 1.25 BN to unsecured unguaranteed bond holders.

Maybe people will read up on it a bit more.

I really wish this kind of behaviour translated to real life, as opposed to just when the internet is threatened.

    Where is our pride!

Well said Otto. We need to see more large scale action in this country. People are getting involved in things finally. But when the initial "buzz" wears off, people tend to forget.

    No you don't.

Because Anonymous are in eccense, whether you agree with them or not, a group who use bullying tactics to force their own agenda.

The equivilant would be a group of vigilantes wearing masks walking around dishing out out punishment whenever someone did something they disagreed with. We don't need that!

Eh are them phone numbers not easily available anyway, like in the phonebook?
They arnt the home numbers are they.??
I think the numbers could be used for better than sopa bills anyway. Id love to ring Enda Kenny whilst fapping. If only I could get his home number.

I remember when Anonymous was just a bunch of V for Vendetta fans pissed off at Scientology. Those were the days.

    Email sent to every TD.
    Dear Ministers,
I call on you to make a stand against the proposed enactment of “S.I. No. of 2011 European Communities (Copyright and Related Rights) Regulations 2011.” This legislation subverts the democratic process, favours the special interests of corporations over the rights of individual citizens, will destroy the largest growth sector in the Irish economy, and will subject the citizens of Ireland to unwarranted and unintended censorship.

Will you stand with me and 29,000+ other Irish citizens or will you stand against us and inflict more misery?

If you're going by the literal definition of Communism, Ireland has an extremely long way to go, and passing such a bill wouldn't get it very far.

Do you know what communism actually is zenno?
The state is trying to privatise alot of stuff , is that a tell tale sign of communism??
Id say a facist state and agree with you but communist?
No man , Europe would never let us do that.

could anon not just hack into the banking system and put these so called "debts" at 0, or the IMF, or even to stop this transfer?

IMO they do do some good, showing the new world order that we will not be as controlled as they like
