I wish it wasn't such a typical thing for me to forsake something (arts ball ticket) in the name of half an hour extra sleep. Then again, sleep is good and I'm sadly lacking in it.

Off school because I'm sick. Ive already missed enough days going to concerts and open days etc is year and I had to ring work and tell them I won't be in either. I hate being sick!!

I learnt a trick in boarding school. Fill one of those large bins with water, walk it to their door, lean it against the door, and then knock loudly. Make your swift exit.
They won't play loud music at half one in the morning again.

    Sir...

That is perhaps the best thing I've ever heard... Mission for today: buy 3-4 of those bins....

Only problem is, our apartment doors open outwards. :\

The alternate plan is to make a U shape around the base of the door with a towel and pour water into it. The water flows under the door, same effect really.

Be warned you may need to start jamming a towel behind your own door at night in case the plan is copped on and becomes a commonplace prank.

Why do people around the middle of the country pronounce "beat" as "bate"? Definitely one of the drawbacks of leaving home for college.

This is how i talk. Most of the time. I think i tend to tune it down a bit though depending on the company I'm in :p

Also, my local shop puts the price on at the till, therefore me not copping that I dont have enough change and having to pay them bakc the ten or fifteen cent next time I'm in the shop. Bloody hell, when will they stop screwing us over?!

Well, according to the bill, my subscription is 47.93 before VAT and 58.95 after it. The other UPC charges went from 6.60 to 8.12, therefore VAT is coming in at 12.54 cent raising my bill from 58 euros to 67.07 a month.

But with the old VAT & UPC charges it would have been about 64 with a subscription or 47.93 + VAT of 10.07 and UPC charge of 6.60

I hate when companies use the government as an excuse for things - especially when there isn't even a gram of truth to it. All it does is breed anti-government sentiment.
Politicians and talking heads do the same, for example everything is the EU's fault - leading people to dislike based on bull and lies.

A lot of the 1st generation proper android tablets(not chinese or phone software ports) are starting to be sold off now with the new ranges coming in. Youd probably pick one up for a couple hundred soon

Reddit Enhancement Suite isn't working properly for me, which has drastically impacted on my Reddit experience as of late :(

That, and my uncle expects me to help him fix something which I haven't the slightest clue how to solve (as I've previously explained), but now my father is trying to push me to fix it... what part of "I don't know what could possibly be wrong, not to mind how to fix it" do they not understand?

I have a friend and we have become a lot more close in the last year. But lately she won't go to certain places or do things if I'm not. I'm starting to feel closterphobic and pressure to go everywhere too or else ill feel guilty because then she won't go. I've always been independent so I don't get it and I'm so sick of it now!

This is going to sound really strange, but at this stage I nearly don't like having a few days off work/college. It's like every single time I do, everyone is suddenly pressuring me into doing stuff all the time, if it's not my dad it's my friends if it's not them it's my boyfriend or my mum or the neighbours cat. Like yeah I love them and all and it sucks not seeing them all the time but none of them actually ever seem to think that just maybe on one of the very few days off I have that I might just want to do nothing. Is there something wrong with wanting to get up at 3 in the afternoon and sit around on my laptop watching tv all day? All my free time doesn't have to be spent doing stuff. I'm nearly more stressed even though I've 3 days off trying to facilitat everyone and meet up with people than I am when I'm working.

I JUST WANT LAZY DAYS TO MYSELF, is that really too much to ask? :(

Yes it is. As a stranger ill side with the cat and say its better to keep u on ur toes. I've had so many lazy days like what ur looking for. I'm practically freaking out. I know college and work take there toll and ur body is crying out just to sit and relax and fill it with junk. But ur mind will fall in love with this new luxury of never being bothered no one dragging u halfway across town just to look at something. I'm going walking in the morning. It's not something I want to do but I'm delighted that I'm getting out and not lazing about. I'm really looking forward to it.

I don't know bout u but I'll probably be thankful in the future that i had/have someone to keep me occupied.

Motherfupping braces!! Dear god, the pain! And my teeth are going from that 'hey we're perfectly straight now, brah' stage to the 'lol now we're gonna be gappy for a bit' one. The sooner I get my face smashed up and these things taken off, the better.
