Hi guys. Can anybody tell me if the Ryanair fees are waived if using the O2 money card? I got one just for this reason, topped up and now it doesn't seem I can use it on the Ryanair site. What's the story with them, they changed this lately as I seem to remember reading here on boards about the O2 card being accepted by them.

as far as i know ryanair only offer zero fees to prepay mastercard. the o2 one is prepay visa.

have you tried moneybookers for a prepay mastercard?

Thanks. How does moneybookers work, do they send a physical card as well or is it a virtual one?

Think this has been changed again to Ryanairs own card only,
There is a thread somewhere, as far as I recall minimum funds you can put on the card is €150

So apart their card, one is screwed for the fees if using any other card?

The Ryanair brand card is only available in the UK. Booking originating from the UK and only fee-free if you use it.

Everywhere else, prepaid Mastercard doesn't attract fees..for now.

Thanks guys. It looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and pay with the visa as I'm fed up of applying for cards just to avoid their stupid fees and I might end up with loads of cards of no use to me
