    Hey all,

I'm just wondering if there is ever any organised spins around Limerick over the weekend period?

I know the Limerick Cycling Club do trips some weekends, but I've had a look on heir website and didn't find much information...

    Hi Busyliving

Have a look at the Cycle 4 Sick Children website. They are on Facebook also.

They are a Limerick Club and a good bunch of lads and ladies and all abilities are catered for with short and long Sunday spins. Some members organise mid week spins also.
They usually meet at the Delta Dome in Ballysimon at 8:45 on a Sunday morning. Cycling Ireland licence is a must after the 1st spin though.

Yeah. The lads in the club there will sort you out for it no problem.
I think its €20 for membership and €15 for a first time not competition licence.

Cheers mate, is it true that the license also has insurance incorporated?

Limerick Cycling Club meet at 9am at the Limerick Tourist office each Saturday. Lately they are splitting into 2 groups with the faster group training for the race season. They also meet on Sundays for a spin but not sure of time.

The Limerick Tri Club meet on Sundays - I think at 10am at Parkway shopping centre.

You also other clubs in the surrounding towns onlcluding Kilmallock Cycling Clun, Kilmallock and Cycling Pusuits, Newcastelwest (Sundays 9.30am-10am)

Cycling Ireland licence is pretty much minimum to cycle with any club these days.
