    hi,
just wondering... i have an old sky box in the living room with just bbc and itv etc, the cable from the sat dish is drilled into the wall downstairs behind the sky box,
i'm thinking of returning to sky & getting a sky + plus box instead, can i transfer the old sky box upstairs to one of the bedrooms, maybe connect to the tv wall point like i do with the rte aeriel, or would i have to drill the cable through a roof tile
    cheers

The box will have to be connected to the dish, doesn't work off an aerial.Your best bet is to offer the Sky installer a few bob to hook it up for you.

The lnb they use for Sky+ is a quad, this has 4 'ports' where you can connect the cables to.Sky+Hd boxes use 2 cables leaving 2 free so they can be used to hook up extra boxes.

Sign up through fatcheese and get money back;) Can take a while to get your cash but it's better than nothing.
