Do you laugh at your own jokes and ridiculous behaviour?

Anyone else find themselves hilarious?? I do. I don't mean I'm a particularly funny person or I should be on stage or anything but I catch myself laughing at stuff I said and did on a daily basis. I'm like my own best pal! Who needs friends when I have myself!

Right now, I'm laughing at the jungle song I composed with friends after a few beers last night entitled "Fatty bum bum"...it goes something like this (you have to imagine the hard thumping jungle music in the background...

    Fatty bum bum

    Fatty fatty bum bum

    Fatty bum bum

    Fatty fatty bum bum

    Fatty bum bum

    Fatty fatty bum bum

    Fatty bum bum

    Fatty fatty bum bum

    Jungle is massive.

    The end.

I even invented a dance for it which I obviously can't show you here.

I'm willing to sacrifice my pride here and admit I'm always laughing at my own jokes even ones from years ago.

Anyone else? Give me an example...

Song stolen from Snow's Informer. Plagiarism isn't funny.

Unlike you OP, I feel that I should be on stage. I'm a ****ing riot. Just today I convinced a girl in work that Skittles did, in fact, taste like rainbows. And managed to nearly convince another (who asked what they taught in 'Classics') that they taught people about classic songs such as 'Rhythm Is A Dancer'. High-larious.

It certainly inspired me but to call it plagerism?

Was he not singing about licking bum bums down? A little different to my Fatty bum bum song....he wasn't jungle either.

Thinly veiled I have a fat bum.

I created a nearly identical song when I was a child except it went:

    Fatty bum

    Fatty bum

Thinly veiled? I'd say it's fairly blatant, pal!

You should sing that song to the tune of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Hilarity will ensue!

To answer the question in your OP, no

I'm pretty much the only person who laughs at my jokes :D
And the more someone doesn't laugh at them, the funnier I find them :pac:

Great outlook eve. Personally I think I'm hilarious sometimes, I'm sure other people are thinking what a knob, but I think that's kind of funny in itself.

There's only one thing in life you can never walk away from, and that's your shadow. So you might as well get along well with it, and only do your best with everybody else.

My husband said the other day "where's the wii remote" and I said "I don't know, but the big one is over there". He looked at me in sheer disgust while I nearly pissed myself for a good ten minutes at my hilarity :pac:

How could you find a wee/wii pun funny in that case?

I still think "bum-bum" is a pretty hilarious word - three decades on.

I'm sorry, I too have been a victim of a "wii pun". Resulted in someone getting hurt, it did.

I can't listen to Paul McCartney's Frog Chorus thingie (kids, YouTube it) as it causes convulsions.

For some reason "poo poo" is better.

I still think the word 'poo' is amazing
It is, but is the correct spelling poo or pooh? A question that has, I'm sure, troubled the finest minds.
Poopoo is even better - although as a great man Mr H. Simpson once asked: is it one word or two?

I was going to agree with OP but couldn't find a good example of how it do. It's this kind of humour^^

When the other person looks at you like you're an idiot but you just can't help but laugh at your own joke. I do enjoy myself it must be said :P
