3 yr old Warmflow Oil boiler, riello burner, underfloor heating.

Sometimes when turn on heating a smell starts in utility room i think, works way into neighbouring rooms. The smell is like rotten eggs/sulphur. I set up a carbon monoxide alarm so i dont think its going to kill me but smell is bad. The boiler is on ground outside adjacent to utility room. no smell from sinks.

any help much appreciated, im wondering is the smell coming from the outpipe from the sink/washer which aims directly into drain or is it something to do with the boiler itself.

    cheers

Sounds like poor combustion, and re-entering the house through a seal, vent etc.

    Have the installation checked.

Better to have the appliance serviced and checked

Carbon monoxide doesn't smell. What your describing is usually H2S (Hydrogen Sulphide) but not normally a by product from oil boilers afaik

The problem with H2S is that when you start to smell it, it is already at dangerous levels

You might have an issue with your drains
