should point out i used to wear it on my left, but switched to the right as i used to play pool and the watch i had then, which was held on by a claspe, kept poping open every time i'd strike the ball with the cue.

only noticed the change in my hand writing after that then too so stuck with it.

    Right.

    Why?
Im left handed and wear a watch always on my left arm, couldnt really go without wearing a watch, feels a bit weird if i dont.

I assumed most people wore it on their left regardless of the hand they write with, rarely see someone wearing it on their right.

    Whatever works for people!

Isnt the right/left thing to do with being able to wind-up your watch with your 'strong' hand while wearing it?

By wind-up, I don't mean taking the p*** out of your watch.

Left. Does anyone who is right handed actually wear them on the right?

I'm left handed and wear it on the left if that counts.

i was going to say something similar. i can't remember who pointed it out to me as a kid. the dial and buttons are on the right hand side of the watch so it's worn on the left hand providing easy access to the controls for the right hand. if worn on the right hand, you'd have to take the watch off to adjust the controls. . .either that or you look like you're having a seizure with your arms all tangled

thats cause watches are designed, like alot of things ,for right handed people.

try using a cheque book with your left hand.

pain in the arse to fill in the stubbs when its getting to the end.

    :)

ditto for a knife or a scissors.

I don't wear a wristwatch. I have this handy little device that tells the time, BUT, not only that it can be used to communicate with people too via calls or texts
