Money does not get ye good friends dude.
Some of the best people I know have not got a pot to piss in.
Yet they are class in every way. Make something from nothing.

The biggest Dicks I know make a fortune. And have friend that suit their social status ..

I'd prefer to be a dick than piss in a pot.

    But I still want friends.:o

I remember I wanted an outdoor hot-tub. It seemed quite normal at the time, in fact I could barely envisage a life that didn’t in some way include an outdoor hut tub.
Given I live in a 3-bed semi in suburbia – I’m happy to stick with a bath now.
What aspirations did you have back in the madness of the Celtic Tiger that seem somewhat ridiculous now?

I could never understand why people wanted a hot tub. Spend 3 hours sitting in a hot tub with friends drinking wine and beer. You'll notice not one of them get out and go to the loo, even girls.:eek::eek:

In my naivety I always thought finishing college would get me a good job, well I dont have a good job and nepotism is far more important than a degree is what the celtic tiger taught me.

All I have ever wanted is a period house (red brick natch) with a big garden in a nice part of town. No decking or hot tubs or kitchen islands or big marble water fatures. Just cornicing and victorian tiles. In an area with shops and restaurants and a community feel about it.

I realise that aspiration may not be embarassing enough for this thread though.

In good news though, those houses now cost a third of what they used to, so there is hope yet!
