My pick for Round 7 is a guy I had last year and while I normally try to go for fresh faces, the fact he is synonymous with managing the Midnight Express means it would be gut-wrenching for me to lose out on him.

He is one of the greatest managers and talkers in the history of the business and Monday Night Grappling is delighted to welcome back a man who is meaner and angrier than ever - Mr. James E. Cornette.

Best Pro Wrestling Book (2009) Midnight Express 25th Anniversary Scrapbook

Aside from returning to MNG and dealing with the tag team situation, Jimbo I'm sure will have some words for one Dave Batista...

My pick for Round 8 will be perhaps the WWE's greatest female wrestler. They named her their diva of the decade and she's a 7 time World Champ. She's also not that bad on the eyes either.

Monday Night Grappling welcomes Trish Stratus to the roster.

Fusion Pro Wrestling is proud to bring another great Mexican to its roster. He and his cousin were one of the best tag teams of the 00s, and many felt that he did not reach the heights that he should have, simply from living in his cousins shadow when they went down the singles route.

Please welcome to Fusion Pro Wrestling CHAVO GUERRERO JNR!!!

Ok, first order of business is to announce two trades I've partaken in.

First off, I'm trading Booker T to Campo, and in return, he's giving me Scott Hall!

    Booker+T+%252816%2529.jpg <
    > n57869950494_3462655_3186.jpg

Secondly, I've agreed to trade Umaga to Glenjamin, and in exchange, he's trading me X Pac

    umaga.jpg?e83a2c <
    > x-pac-94031imgcache-1318121173.jpg

And with that out of the way, my pick for round eight is the tag team of Stevie Richards and the Blue Meanie, aka...

    The Blue World Order

    Blue_World_Order.jpg

    Stevie-Richards.jpgz3.jpg

Bounty asked me just to include the research I did into making sure this wasn't a Radical Rule violation.

    The two men have held tag titles together according to OWW;

    SCW (Steel City Wrestling) Tag Team titles w/The Blue Meanie defeating Lou Marconi & Frank Staletto (April 21, 1996);

...as well as having wrestled together a few times as a team.

    # 1996: The Blue Meanie formed a tag team with "Dancing" Stevie Richards..

    That's from...
    http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com...lue-meanie.php

According to the Blue World Order wiki page, Stevie and Meanie had been teaming together in ECW to parody other wrestlers since 1995...

"Since July 1995, Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie (Brian Heffron) had been making parodies of various wrestlers from the WWF and WCW."
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_World_Order

...before adding, and forming the team of the bWo with, Nova.

Hope that's ok with everyone :D

    Roster So Far...
    Brock Lesnar
    Bobby Lashley
    Ric Flair
    Kevin Nash
    Scott Hall
    X Pac
    Santino
    Carlito
    Stevie Richards
    Blue Meanie

what a pick to fall through the cracks!!! and i needed a strong babyface or 2 too to work with...
    "Magnum TA" Terry Allen

    Magnum-TA.jpg

quite simply, he could have been one of the great "All-American" heroes in wrestling history. i don't oversell him by saying he has 10 times the wrestling ability of Hogan, and 10 times the charisma AND wrestling ability of Lex Luger.

if it wasn't for a terrible accident in 1986, you'd have seen him in some of the great feuds of our time. of that, there is no doubt in my mind.

he had famous NWA feuds with the Horsemen among others, and was one of the proteges of Dusty Rhodes.

he is a "great", who never got the chance to be great.

as Jim Ross said, he'd have had "multiple" NWA Heavyweight reigns, and likely "multiple" WWE Heavyweight reigns.

and his partner, taking me up to 4 teams for this draft...

    "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan

    duggan.JPG

so entertaining, and despite his gimmick perhaps restraining him a little in the following regard, he is a good worker.

he's also the first ever winner of the Royal Rumble.
    Slick Wrestling Federation

    AJ Styles
    Mr Perfect
    The Road Warriors
    Arn Anderson
    Tully Blanchard
The Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark)
    Masahiro Chono
    Bob Sapp
    "Magnum TA" Terry Allen
    "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan

It's not often you can draft two Hall of Fame Wrestlers in one go.

Firstly I would like to welcome a bit of class to Monday Night Grappling. He is a 4 time AWA World Heavyweight Champion and has a command of the English language that most wrestlers could only dream of. He is of course...Nick Bockwinkel!

At a press conference for the two men, Monday Night Grappling Commissioner Mr. James E. Cornette made the following announcement:
Cornette: These two gentlemen bring to our organisation a class and prestige that is in my eyes unequalled but don't take my word for it. Mr Bockwinkel has something to say and has a surprise in store...

Mr. Nick Bockwinkel: Thank you, Sir. You know for a long time I must confess I had a substantial antipathy towards the owner of this organisation. After all it was said owner who decreed several years back that the AWA World Title should not be regarded as a legitimate World Title. This is an insult to myself and my partner here Ray Stevens as we have both put in laborious endeavours to make the promotion successful. But no matter. I have since had discussions with the owner and he has apologised profusely for his oversight. He informs me that it is the BWA that I ought to direct my ire towards for the persistent disrespect.

In gratitude for his magnanimity, I have decided to bring with me to Monday Night Grappling the WECWF Legends and World TV Titles that I unified at last year's Mayhem Rising II event. I can guarantee all of my loyal fans that Monday Night Grappling is the requisite location for myself and the best talent in the world.

Cornette: So stick that up your pipe and smoke it, WECWF fans!

Reporter: Can you update us on the whereabouts of Shawn Michaels? It's been reported you still haven't been able to get in touch with him and that he has gone AWOL?

    Cornette: No more questions.

    MNG roster thus far:

    1. Batista
    2. Mitsuharu Misawa
    3. Shawn Michaels
    4. The Ultimate Warrior
    5. The Midnight Express
    6. The Rock 'n' Roll Express

    8. Trish Stratus

Cool, my first pick. Thanks again to Shadowclan and best of luck in your future endevors. Lol. :)

Needless to say it took me a bit of time to find someone who has not been chosen. I then noticed a lack of women being picked so I though I would mix things up a bit. My next pick will be...

    "Superstar" Billy Graham

    graham_superstar.JPG

    the inspiration for Hulk Hogan.

the longest reigning heel WWE Champion for a single reign in history, and one of the few to beat the likes of Sammartino in his pomp.

a great draw, and infectious character, who can talk and perform.

    delighted.

CMW Pick number 9 is a great man.

A man who started as a simple referee in wwe, but for years before that was a superb manager in the NWA.

A man who has come up with such fantastic match concepts as the Stretcher match, the barbed wire cage match. But also brought back some classics as the King Of The Ring tourney and has a fond affection for tag team matches, playa.

Oh its the Macmillitant! Teddy Long!

And yes, he will be bringing this with him..
