Do you remember a time when it was a man's goal to provide for their family, a badge of honour almost ?.
Do you remember a time when the welfare system was only there for the sick or infirm ?.
Do you remember a time when a father would take any job, no matter how menial, too put food on the table ?.

Listening to scroungers all day with an overblown sense of entitlement, experts on how to play the system.
If a 10th of that cunning & guile was applied in the workplace a company would be the better for it.
"I'm sorry you had to turn down the 3 bed we offered you sir, you only listed 4 children when you filled out the form, I'll update our records immediately."

If you opt for the slower lane in life don't get in my way, don't expect the same lifestyle & services, but most of all, don't think you're entitled to any of it.

I'd thank my own post if I could, now excuse me, I've something to do for my country.

Well, they will only get in your way if you too are in the slow lane.

Did you just spend a whole post bitching about yourself?

Do you remember a time when people could spell?
Do you remember a time when people knew that a full stop wasn't necessary after a question mark?
Do you remember a time when there wasn't a space between a sentence and the punctuation?

With regard to your post, maybe you forget that the times you mention were not good times and it was a struggle for most? People didn't like living like that...

A - just exactly how old are you if you can remember the workhouses.

B- which US site did you cut/paste from ?

Anyone know of any threads on Boards where the so-called scroungers are taking the piss out of those more fortunate? Seems to be all one way traffic to me.

Completely my own creation, my vitriol needed to be expressed in words, good words.

Having the cheek to be able to afford to be online when not working and showing off that ability is enough to take the piss out of those who are sensitive enough.

What do you do? Rant for Ireland?
What I do see a lot of is an overblown sense of self-righteousness.
