Actually my maths teacher was Aidan Lynch of LOI fame :)

I was in the same school as you fella, though definitely not at the same time. Aidan Lynch was a year ahead of me when i was there. His brother is a pretty good footie player too - spent a while at Leeds, and then back to Bohs. Not sure what was in between or after for him though.

By the way, how did you forget Liam Brady, but remember Bertie. The shame.

It's a big rugby school, so there's a long list of rugby players. But having never had any interest in rugby, I've never heard of any of them, except the one muppet who was in my year.

The best-known alumni are probably Dave Allen (comedian), The Coronas, Mike Murphy and Peter Lawrie.

No super-famous people and nobody notable really except for the above 4. Even the Coronas just barely make it into the "notable" category.

The ones I remember from school were:

Aidan Gillen (Actor from The Wire, Love/Hate)
Kenny Cunningham (former Ireland international footballer)
Dessie Farrell (Chief Executive of the GAA & former Dublin GAA player)
Jason Sherlock (former Dublin GAA player)

I knew them all from playing football with them, with the exception of Gillen.

Eamon Coghlan (former athlete) & Ronan Collins (RTE) also attended my school, but a good bit before my time.

Stephen Cluxton is a teacher there aswell

Do Aidan's actually call Bertie a cúnt on the website? I didn't know Michael Nugent was an Aidan's lad. I hope the brothers are proud about producing the Irish Dawkins. I was in Kinsellas class and I remember Niall Bruton too.

Oh, Tommy Broughan TD(who recently got the heave from the Labour Party over voting against the budget) was a teacher. And I believe the Art teacher in my day was a prominent Republican.
