No. Battlefield has it's own thing going. Leave em at it.

COD is about fast paced, constantly in the action FPS gaming. Maps need to be simplified not presented in the cluster**** manner that are in MW3. No vehicles are needed!

Agreed. Some people like BF3, some COD and the weird ones like both

I've said before I don't think BF is a bad game and probably superior to COD in a lot of areas I just prefer COD.

Hi so with the new DLC, will i be about to get it on the 24th, i am a XBOX user but am not a elite member and is it only 2 maos and will it cost 1,200 points, can not find this answer any were

You won't be able to get the new maps for 2 months, there will probably be 4 maps and a spec ops mission (or similar) in the release then. But you cannot get these 2 maps separately.

Just saw this on gamespots cod forum. Don't know if there's any truth in it but said I'd post it anyway.

January: Liberation and Piazza (formerly Park and Coast, also for Spec Ops Survival), Community Game Type for everyone: Team Juggernaut
February: 4 New Spec Ops Missions, 2 extra campaign levels
March: mp_warlord & mp_brooklyn (also for Survival)
April: Crash & Crossfire from COD4 (also Survival), Community Game Type: Infection
May: DLC only weapons (statistically the same as other weapons in the game, but different looks/sounds/animations): G3, AK74u, RPD, M1014 Shotgun, M40A3 Sniper
June: Overgrown & Strike from COD4 (also Survival)
July: Skidrow & Terminal from MW2 (also survival), Community Game Type: Gun Game
August: Return of several MW2 Spec Ops missions but different, DLC only weapons (statistically same as other guns, different looks/sounds): FAMAS, Vector, Intervention, AUG HBAR, TAR-21, TMP
September: Highrise, Afghan from MW2 (also for Survival)

Can't picture them only using old maps for the rest of the dlc, but stranger things have happened.

if it is true though then there's a lack of new maps, as in new new maps, there's what, 4? in a 9 month dlc drop? boo-urns to you activision, the older stuff being put in should be a bonus on top of new stuff. at that rate they could have just added new guns and modes to MW2 and it'd be almost the same thing.

if the RPD does make a return I'll be happy as fook, I miss that gun, have barely used the lmgs in MW3 so far.

new (old) guns "statistically the same" as what? the current overpowered ones or the underpowered ones :pac:

Typical.. 4 new maps.. over the space of nearly a year from release! I wouldnt be surprised!

Now to be fair.. I'd prob be happier DLing older maps that I knew were brilliant but it is just incredible lazy and typical way to make easy money cheaply!! As Krud said.. that stuff should be free on top of what you get!!

In addition to being cheap.. Games like infected and gun game are already made and in game!! they are availble in Private mode.. So you pay to be able to play them publicly!! What a load of Bull!!

I hope this list is true coz it would show exactly what IW are.. Nothing but money grabbing Knuts who will happily take the cheaper option to make more money!

Actually if the DLC is **** then having you in the party will mean the party doesn't play the new stuff.

Honestly, it is a bit crap that the Vector, G3 and AK74u are coming back as DLC weapon reskins for MP as these were confirmed to be in game weapons pre MW3 release. Saying that, I can see myself getting the vector and the AUG if they have it as an assault riffle instead of the LMG.
I hope that they have weapons skins separate from map packs for non-Elite members as I cannot imagine many people wanting them forced on them with 4 maps.

Reskins of weapons

thats sooooooooooo cheap. I know people who can reskin a weapon in less a day on IW's engine. Can't imagine that being an accurate list tho, with most of the maps being old rehashes and all.

In fairness that just looks like a list drawn up by a fanboy. Not an IW developer.

Jaysus LMGS are non existant in this game so rare to come across one.

got to level 30 on mp5 finally thought "nice one will finally have a gold camo weapon soon" looked at the xp required to get to 31

The XP from level 1 to 30 is the same from 30 to 31 apparently.
