    Hi all,

there's a dish already on out house, with cables running to the inside of the house.

I presume it's an old sky dish. How would i find out if it is working?

And would any receiver box work?

Thanks for the help, if you need any other info let me know and i'll try my best.

yeah any Sat box would do. Easiest thing is to borrow a box from a friend, (Sky or free to air). You will then see straight away is dish has moved or if cabling is worn or damaged. Easier that getting even a cheap FTA box as you might have trouble tuning in the stations and might not know if the dish/ cabling was the problem, If this works, then any cheap box would do you.
