    :)
Any time I hear people come out with stupid racist comments in work ect it put years on me. It's a sure way of knowing if someone is boring I find.
Was what I said racist? I hope not. Just in case it was, here's another black musician:

I don't like Americans, in general. Valid reasons for it too, many many bad experiences with them. Some are ok, but the nice ones are a large minority. Just from what i've experienced. But they're not a race, as such.

    Americans are a nationality. Yes.

I voted yes because what a ****ing daft question to ask.

Most genuine racists think they aren't anyway.

    DON'T KNOW
When I lived in London I was anti racism.
Since moving to Ireland I have become racist.
I think there are too many asylum seekers, and non EU citizens in Ireland now.
The Irish Governments have been too lax with regard to border control in the Common Travel Area. Many asylum seekers that come to Ireland have previously been refused asylum in the UK. Rather than return to their country of origin, they come to Ireland. Only now the Irish Government are tightening border control between the UK and Ireland, but its too little too late. The damage has already been done.
I remember Ireland in the 1980's as a child, and it being rare to hear an accent that wasn't Irish. Or seeing a black person was very rare. I have to say that I preferred it then. I feel that Ireland has lost its identity. We are European now, not Irish. Its not just our sovereignty we have lost, it is our identity. I used to be so proud to be Irish, it really meant something to me. Now I feel ashamed of what Ireland has become. It feels like the Irish have become the ethnic minority in our own country.
Multiculturalism in Ireland hasn't worked. The immigrants don't want to integrate with Irish culture. It is a small country and I feel that we have too many immigrants. Any place where you have a high concentration of one ethnic group, it quickly becomes a ghetto.
I honestly feel that Ireland would be better if it was not part of the EU. We would still have our sovereignty, and it would still mean something to be Irish.

Sure the Brits never destroyed our culture. We Gaelicised most of 'em. Just look at this. The Statutes Of Kilkenny.

How are a few Polish going to do it? Or is it just people who look different from you who you dislike?

Those eastern europeans came over here and took our jobs and earned a living, without the irish complaining.

When irish workers go to poland, we recieve endless abuse and are frightened to walk on streets at night as we are targeted for being irish.

Hitler and Stalin had the right ideas for eastern europeans.

For the "dont know" people: If you agonise over the possibility of some level of subconscious prejudice - then you really aren't a racist, not in the way the term is usually meant. You're probably very much the opposite.

I can't say that I hate Eastern Europeans more than I hate; Africans, Albanians, Roma Gypsies, and asylum seekers.

I actually think we need more people in the country. Become closer to being a sovereign state.

I think most people have an inbuilt distrust of any group they see as being "other" to them and the group identity they were socialised into.

But most people can reflect on that, and see it for what it is, and allow empirical evidence and common sense to override that instinct (and maybe not everyone has that instinct).

But to take that instinct for granted as being based upon universal truth, and from it develop ideologies and concrete opinions about different groups of people in the real world, is pretty stupid.

    Have you worked in Poland?

If so, what kind of abuse did you get, and is there a sizeable number of Irish people working there? (I'm curious as I've never known an Irish person who worked in Poland)

i have black friends as i do white ,so i would like to say im not but everyone has hate of some sort..

    and this does not help

if a white person calls a black person black ..it is racist

but if a black person calls a white person white it is not racist

so if it isnt racist to call a white person white why is racist to call a black person black,,and have you heard what they call each other...
