Sky Question

    Hi there,

I've got a question about Sky that I need to phone them about and I was wondering if anyone has any experience phoning Sky about questions. I don't want to rush into this so I thought that I'd ask here for advice first.

What are they like? What sort of conversation should I expect? Are they polite on the phone, and are they able to answer a broad range of questions?

Thanks everyone for your help, I really appreciate it!

    Jim

You should ask the question here. We as a group would answer any question far better than a sky agent except account info. Give us a try!

Other than that sky will answer any question you may have as long as the answer is "Unplug the box at the power supply. Now plug it back in."

What are they like? They sound human, but the girl I spoke to had a Scottish accent, so not sure.
What conversation to expect? They will probably try and chat you up. They did me.
As to polite? Again, the girl I spoke to was until I answered the question " is there something else I can do for you?"

As with any call centre, they read from a script on the computer. If you ask a question that isn't listed, they'll read the answer from the next nearest question or simply make it up to get rid of you. They'll generally do this with a smile so you believe them. :)

    I'm kidding - partly! ;)

Just make sure you ring the Cork office, not the Scottish one. You'll be alright

Is there a separate number for the cork office?
