Is this a tunnel in Lee?

Taking inspiration from a similar thread, can anyone explain what looks like a tunnel in this snap shot from google maps? It's intrigued me for years

They should hand out infractions for all the "Tunnels!!!1!" that people claim exist that have much more benign explanations.

Underground stream,there is one in Blackpool as well.

The Motorbike shop on the way out to blackpool, opposite the opera house, is on "carrols Quay". You used to be able to see the stream up to recently, when they built over it.

Sure isn't there one under Patrick's Street, you can see the tunnel if you're standing on the Bridge Street side of the river. Here's a link to the waterways of Cork city.
