I'm eight years older, hopefully wiser - and definitely poorer.......

Otherwise, I'm pretty much the same person.:p

    Clothes? Lots of times,

    Attitudes? Some, that's life

    Appearance? Yes, unfortunately

Partner? No, and no way I want to, and we've been together a long time now.

Car? Yes, they don't last like they used to

Political opinions? Too darn right, hopefully we all have

Computers? No choice, built in obsolecence that starts before you collect it from the showroom. They get to be obsolete 4 times faster than the previous model.

Phones? Yes, it's cheaper than buying a new battery

House? No, and the way things are now, not going to any time soon.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Well 8 years ago I was 13, so yes, quite substantially

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

8 years ago I was an angsty teenager with a very open mind...now I've lightened up and formed some more informed opinions on various things. Gotten much more confident, grown up and happy in myself and hopefully it keeps going that way over the next 8 :)

    Since I was 11 I'd say I've changed a fair bit alright.

or... are you still the same or worse. I fear it gets worse. but hoping it gets better!

Eight years ago I was in my mid 30's and having an absolute ball, best years of my life in fact.

Then one of two personal crisis put me through the grinder and I started to drink, and its developed into a habit I'm finding hard to break.

I've found once I got into my 40's people tried their best to knock me, reminding me that I'm getting older, telling me I shouldn't train so hard or fight/compete in Judo - so I dig in deeper, and I prove them wrong.

I'm still taken in by pricks & selfish bastards, and sometimes drop my guard - so I haven't learned so much there!.. But I deal with it better now and rarely make the same stupid mistakes a second time.

Finally, I have more grey than red hair now. My waist line has expanded, but thats just from gargling as I train pretty good and I'm strong as an ox.

Oh, I drive much slower now and don't feel the urge to wheelie my bike off from every traffic light.. And I enjoy a stroll.

Eight years ago I was 20.

Hair's thinner, more comfortable in my own skin, far better musician now than I was, learned to stop caring about the opinions of others, travelled, acheived a couple of things I set out to do years ago and quite pleased at that. Have started to notice myself become a tad more conservative maybe and less tolerant of twats as I get older. Have severed ties with certain individuals as a result which has only made my life that bit easier.

All in all, feelin pretty good, could be way worse.:)

God yes ! I spent my twenty's being fat, miserable, shy and in a job I hated. My relationship with my partner was pretty **** too tbh. I'd no social life, friends were limited. It's no wonder I was miserable !

Roll on 8 yrs, I'm 33, slim, happy, confident, my relationship is great (same guy) I'm in the same job, different company. Loads of new friends ( not so new now). Only bad thing is,I don't want my 30s to end.

Everyone changes. Way more than you think.

Heres something appropriate to the thread.

No offense to Bob, but you cant find a decent version of this with his name on it. So I had to use the Watchmen intro.

Finally, I have more grey than red hair now.

Man dont worry about that ****. It just means you are growing a soul.

Hmmm, I'd be inclined to say I haven't really done much of anything in the last 8 years thats changed me. Changes are generally something other people would notice more so. Appearently I've come "Out of my shell..." so to speak, but I still consider myself to still be fairly reserved and to some degree rather reclusive.

Yes, definitely! I was an angsty little 16 year old rebel virgin, waiting to get my braces taken off this month! I had no confidence and a very narrow world view....
