DM800 SE and Saorview

I'm looking for a compatable HD TV dongle for the DM800 to watch Saorview.

Has anybody got any advise on this?

I have this one working on my Dm800 under the Dream Elite Phoenix image .
Digital TV HDTV DVB-T USB Stick Dongle Tuner Recorder Receiver - BuyinCoins.com
Its just over 5 euro delivered and uses the Afatech 9015 chipset which is the same as that in the Avermedia Volar tuner which costs over €30.
I cannot fault it so far.

Aren't these only for MPeg-2?

No. They work perfectly with Saorview and saorview hd. The 800HD is mpeg4 compatible.

Zardoz TUNER is a great little find though for €5.00

Btw you may need one of these if you are connecting it to a standard coax connector.

Big Thanks to Zardoz,
i got a usb dvb-t tuner as detailed and its working 100% on my DM800 HD Clone with the Dream Elite Phoenix image 1.33. i got my tuner from deal extreme it was a little more expensive than BuyinCoins.com but i had it already before i found this thread. i now can stream the free uk sat channels to my ipad (using Dreambox live app)while herself can watch the saorview channels in Hd on the TV at the same time, also i noticed that i can record 1 saorview channel while watching another. Brilliant! Thanks again Zardoz:D

It is a great tuner especially for the price, but has anybody found a way to utilise the second usb port on the DM800. Now that this almost blocks it?

Im running blackhole 1.12. Ive a Happuage HVR 900, what driver do i need to get it to work or do i need to change my image?

i think only the dream elite image support the usb tuners
