Messi won the Balon D'or for best player 3x in a row now joining Van Basten, Platini and Cruyff as the only players to do that. Neymar won the puskas award for best goal. Guardiola won the coach of the year. I agree with Messi but thought that Boateng's goal vs Barca was the best goal I seen all year, i'd of went for Oscar Tabarez for the coach too did a great job with Uruguay.

Normally agree with you on football debate but Neymar's goal was by far the best goal, barely even any debate about it in my eyes.

Picks up the ball near the half way line, stunning bit of skill to beat two players, plays a one-two, another stunning bit of skill, finished off by chipping over the keeper, simply stunning. And the commentary was great too!

For those who havn't seen it -

I still like Boateng's more, don't think it was even in the running for it either but as a AC fan i'm bias. Barca are a lot better than Flamengo too. I hope somehow my Dad managed to see the inbetweeners tonite, the man only seen Father Ted a month ago and wasn't impressed.

I know I'm biased but I rate Rooney's far higher; it was out of nowhere in such an important derby.

For a football player, Andy Carroll isn't actually veery good at football is he? Some tragic efforts at controlling the ball and basic passing so far.:o

Any player that passes to him should get booked for time wasting.

City are shocking with Yaya, Kompany and Silva.

Thank god we've finally somebody to take a peno. Downing has been cruddy too. City have had a terrible 1st half like they had Sunday. I don't get why a guy Carroll's size can't bully the majority of City players off the ball, he plays like a weedy Inzaghi type without his killer instinct and lethal goal threat. Lawro is as charming as ever on commentary.

Yup. Wish it was a league game. They look like they can't be arsed tonight. If Liverpool had any sense they'd get at them second half, they could put the tie to bed here.

He's up against a powder puf defender as well tonight in Savic. If he can't destroy him he has no hope.

Savic looks awful. Can't believe how bad De Jong has been he's turned into Paul Green, he was great the last few years but has been dreadful in the last month for them. I think City's squad could be better, i'm in a minority that thinks they do need to bring in a few players in January,if they want the title.

Racist. Only joking he reminds me more of Roger from American Dad. Liverpool seem to not want to play a bit of football in the second half and we're just relying on City playing shat.

6 at the back now FFS.

Pig ugly 2nd half. City were terrible I never worried that they would score yeah Silva and Toure are out but liverpool are missing Lucas who was amazing vs them at Anfield. Suarez is out too and Carroll is....well look at the comments above. Where was Nasri has he even bothered turning up since leaving Arsenal. Dzeko coming on added nothing either, I like him but Adam Johnson was even worse than Downing. Time for them lads to step up or F**k off.

Mancini is a pure hypocrite he said Rooney got Kompany sent off and he was the lad waving the imaginary card a week ago when Toure dived. City were awful tonite but they weren't a lot better last week against us. Spurs won again beating another tin can premiership team, there are a lot of those this year.
