Eircom modem

Does anyone know where i can buy a new aerial for my eircom modem as the signal strength of the current one is usless.

Otherwise does anyone use a router to boost their signal for the wifi, as ours only runs about 10 metres or so from the wireless modem and the signal strength falls away very quickly,

Try changing the channel that your modem broadcasts at. Wireless is susceptible to interference from other devices, such as cordless phones.
Use inssider to find out what channels are congested. Then, login to your modem (type 192.168.1.254 into the address bar) and change the "channel" setting under wireless to one that's not congested.

No changing the channel wont effect any of the other settings
