Thinking of doing online dating

    Hi all,

Regular of boards here going unreg.

I have never had a gf in my life and am thinking of trying online dating. I am 20 and so far only site I've tried is the meeting point.

Firstly I apologise for being rude but it seems every time I check in I am getting stuff from women who are in their 40s and 50s.

I understand that this happens but thing is I've never been in a relationship, not once. For my first shot I want to see someone around my age as I am more trusting and seem to have more in common with peers around my age, in my experience.

I was wondering is there any good dating sites I can join where I might meet potentials nearer my age?

And this is personal to me because on meeting point I never seem to attract girls my age, otherwise it seems the site is prominently people late 40s-50s.

    Hey there,

There is an entire 25 page thread dedicated to online dating in The Gentleman's Club that you might find useful.

    All the best.

Just wanted to add that I had been single for 5 years before mid-2010. I then made a conscious effort to go out and meet more people again. Through a dating website, I managed to meet more than 10 girls on dates (some progressing to 2nd or 3rd dates) and 2 relationships coming out of them. Ironically, I'm now with a girl for 3 months whom I did not meet on a dating website. Still, just g o for it and see what happens...

If the status quo isn't working, change it.
