Isn't it saying that the dad is a bit homophobic and not equal to a straight person if he's gonna be talking about it all night.

The ad is trying to be bold and mentioning this area which was a grey one in the past, 10 years too late as most people have accepted the fact gays are ok.

What's the other bord na mona one about? It's probably simple, but I wasn't listening.

It's this aulfella on the phone speaking to his daughter (I'm guessing) and basically what happens is that she comes into the room while they speak, as if to say she's there now and that it's an emotional moment.

What are they even on about?
