After a nightclub I refused an offer to go back to a well known Irish celebrities place. I was seeing someone at that time and I never went into the cheating thing.

As a 10 year old I was a schoolboy extra in an Irish film titled ' A Week In The Life Of Martin Cluxton ' (I managed to get a copy on video a few years ago and I'm on screen for all of one minute )

I was also an extra for a few years in the soap Brookside

I once met and had a chat with a Beatle ( Ringo Starr in Amsterdam )

Met and shook hands with a president ( Mary McAleese ) in Liverpool at a famine memorial event and had photo taken with her which appeared in local paper and was also filmed and shown on local Granada tv that night .

I was once interviewed by a newspaper on the spot of a serious car accident and my quote appeared in it next day .

I've made about 40 odd you tube music videos

Not my claim to fame but when a friend of mine was 16 he was called a clown by dunphy during the match analysis for abusing the referee at an Ireland match.

My main claim would be this fella, my great uncle, who was the eighth person to walk on the moon.

He then was disgraced from NASA for selling some commemorative stuff to some German folk. GO UNCLE!

Also have Bryan Hamilton (Ex Ipswich, Millwall, Everton player and NI Manager) who's my second cousin

My mum also maintains that Kurt Cobain's family come from somewhere near Pomeroy in Co. Tyrone and that we're distantly related (her family name is Cobane, she tries to tell us they changed the spelling when emigrating so as to not confuse the pronounciation...sure thing ma)

Edit: actually, I just looked up my mums story for the first time... she's only effin right!

I was called a "general busybody" during live commentary on South East Radio of the Wexford senior football final this year.

Oh, I've also got two text messages read out on Off the Ball on Newstalk

I've featured on Irish and Canadian television, and probably been filmed in other countries, and appeared numerous times in Irish papers. I represented Ireland in European politics, shaken hands with many a world leader and even have a European Parliament resolution ratified. I've spent some wonderful evenings talking to musical artists who are internationally famous. As well as helping to organise and run other events, whether they are political or artistic.

I once stood beside musical genius Richie Kavanagh in Golden Discs.

Also my name was mentioned in the Carlow Nationalist about fourteen years ago when I was doing a FAS training thing. A girl from the paper came to ask us a load of questions about the course. She sat beside me while I was doing something on a computer. I barely even looked at her and kept typing away on the computer. She asked me questions like "what do you think of the course" to which I mumbled "ah it's alright".

Then when I read the article in the paper I saw that she had quoted me as saying something like "this course has vastly improved my self confidence. It has given me the skills to move forward in life and in my career. I'm extremely grateful for this opportunity. It has been a great learning curve for me".
