Albufeira or Carvoeiro in Portugal as holiday?

    Hi everyone, Happy new year. My hubby and I are hoping to go on a weeks hol in Feb or March, just a nice relaxing break away nothing hectic. It down to 2 hotels/resorts in different locations of Portugal...Has anyone been to either or can recommend between Albufeira or Carvoeiro? All recommendations and view really really appreciated...Thanks in advance guys :)

    Been to Albufeira in high season a couple of times, it's fine but don't think I'd go back there.
    Not sure you would get great weather in Feb / Mar, if that's important to you.
    May have to go further south if warmth is a requirement, maybe one of the Canary islands
