Stephen Rea was born for this big screen treatment

Michael Collins could act as 'Frog' Ward.

It could be an Irish epic in the style of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' or 'Time To Kill.'

Both men could be protrayed sympathetically as two troubled but driven men on a collision course.
